Responding to A Need For Highly-Trained Therapists

Neurosomatic Therapy (NST) gets results. Physicians, patients, and therapists all agree that this form of therapy succeeds where traditional forms of therapeutic pain management fail. This is why the St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center has a waiting list even though it does not advertise. The only factor preventing a clinic like this from expanding internationally is a lack of properly trained therapists.

During nearly a decade of helping patients at the St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center and providing continuing education through Neurosomatic Educators, Inc, there has been an increasing demand for training in areas of manual therapy that require an advanced knowledge of human physiology and kinesiology in order to address specific imbalances often presenting as chronic pain. In response to this increasing demand and lack of qualified therapists to treat his patients, Randall Clarkand Kevin Wade established the Center for Neurosomatic Studies (CNS).

Positively Impacting Therapeutic Pain Management

Combining NST, Massage Therapy, and Corrective Exercise, CNS was established to prepare qualified therapists for licensure with the advanced training to reach the CNST level. Specialized coursework has been developed to teach specific skills based on sound educational principles and clinical research. Students completing this body of work are designated Certified Neurosomatic Specialists (CNS). Recognizing that massage therapy is an important part of the restorative health process, CNS also integrates soft tissue analysis, personal training and corrective exercise so that the practitioner is able to incorporate multiple modalities in treating the whole patient.

The results exceeded my greatest expectation. Since my first visit, I have had no hand or forearm pain and disability. No m ore braces. After the 5th consecutive visit, I have pain free range of motion, both arms and shoulders, full nights of painless, uninterrupted sleep and I’m black to my former level of activity which is strenuous for a 61 year old woman. I spent my entire professional life in the medical field and my husband, who is a surgeon, attended every therapy session, and can’t believe the results. Thank you for the relief and coordination of scheduling so I could accomplish so much in five days.

When I first came here, I was in great pain in my lower and mid back. I was also very inflexible. I am now pain-free and can play sports again. The St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center is a National Treasure! Thank You!

Nothing helped; the medical doctors put me on medication for migraine headaches, which did not work so put me on stronger medication. The medication just made me sleep all the time. I was unable to work until I received treatment at St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center. My life has changed significantly. I am able to work full time and I now enjoy life. I would like to thank the entire staff at St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center.
