Train to Treat the
Root Cause
of Pain
CNS is the only school in the World dedicated to teaching Neurosomatic Therapy — a clinical, structural approach to chronic pain relief. Graduate licensed in massage therapy with an advanced certification in NST.
About CNS
At CNS, we teach you how to think, not just how to work with your hands. Our students learn to assess, analyze, and identify root causes of pain — giving you a clinical mindset that empowers lasting results. Come see what it is you’ll be learning with a free treatment at our student clinic!

Is NST right for you?
The difference between a technician and a true therapist is critical thinking. CNS’s curriculum is designed to build that skill every step of the way, so you graduate ready to transform lives, not just give massages. On the fence? Take our brief quiz to find out if CNS is right for you.
What's Happening At CNS?
Forward head posture is one of the most common distortions seen today. But it rarely starts at the neck. Changes in the pelvis, rib cage, or thoracic spine can shift the body’s center of balance, forcing the head to move forward to maintain equilibrium. Posturology helps therapists understand where the distortion started, not just where it’s visible. To learn more, visit... A full postural chart includes over 80 measurements. But with training, a Neurosomatic Therapist can complete this assessment in about 15 minutes. How? Through repetition, precise hand placement, and trained visual acuity. What begins as a challenging skill eventually becomes a fast and reliable method for gathering critical clinical information. Neurosomatic Therapy focuses on soft tissue. So why do we spend so much time measuring bones? Because bones reveal the forces acting on them. If the pelvis rotates, muscles caused it. If the shoulder elevates, muscles caused it. If the head shifts forward, muscles caused it. By analyzing skeletal alignment, therapists can identify the muscular structures responsible for those distortions. Posture becomes a map. Our next class Starts: November 9th To learn more, visit... How detailed should postural analysis be? At CNS, our system measures over 80 anatomical landmarks. Each point compares the position of skeletal structures relative to one another. These measurements allow therapists to: • Identify distortion patterns • Understand compensation strategies • Track structural change over time It’s a level of assessment that transforms posture from a guess… into measurable information. Posture isn’t a fixed position. It’s a constantly maintained balance of muscular activity. Every moment your body is adjusting tension in muscles to keep you upright against gravity. When certain muscles become dominant and others weaken or lengthen, the body adapts. Over time those adaptations become visible in posture. Posturology allows therapists to identify those adaptations and understand how they influence function and pain. To learn more, visit... Why Posture Matters for Pain Pain often shows up where the body is compensating, not where the problem started. Postural distortions change how forces move through the body. A rotated pelvis can influence the spine. A shifted rib cage can influence the shoulders. A forward head can influence the entire back. Posture reveals these patterns. When therapists understand those relationships, treatment becomes far more effective. To Learn More Visit... For more than the minimum.
If your goal is simply to complete the minimum requirements for licensure, there are many educational options available.
If your goal is to become the kind of therapist who continually learns, earns the trust of patients, and builds a career around clinical excellence — you've found the right place.
Neurosomatic Therapy training goes deeper than most massage programs because it has to. Our graduates work with patients who've been through every conventional option and haven't found relief. That work requires more than technique — it requires anatomical fluency, clinical reasoning, and the confidence to hold a room when someone is finally hopeful again. All of it is teachable. All of it takes time.
Come see what a real career in clinical bodywork looks like.

Most bodywork treats where it hurts. Neurosomatic Therapy treats what's driving the pain. It's a clinical, structural approach to chronic musculoskeletal pain — combining posturology, neurology, and hands-on manual therapy. Practitioners learn to trace the origin of a pain pattern back through the muscle chains, cranial structures, and even the viscera, then treat the source instead of chasing symptoms. Curious? C1/C2 isn’t “out.”
It’s being held there.
When someone says their atlas or axis is “out of place,”
the next question is:
What muscles are putting it there?
Bones don’t migrate on their own.
They respond to force.
And in the upper cervical spine — where neurological density is incredibly high — even subtle asymmetrical tone in the suboccipitals, SCM, scalenes, or deep cervical stabilizers can create rotational bias and positional distortion.
The neurosomatic approach asks:
• What neurological input is driving this tone?
• What compensation patterns may have reinforced it?
• What muscles are overpowering its antagonist?
• What stabilizers may have failed to do their job?
When you normalize the neuromuscular imbalance,
the skeletal alignment often follows.
That’s a different level of thinking.
At the Center for Neurosomatic Studies, students are trained to analyze the relationship between muscle tone, neurological input, and joint position — especially in sensitive regions like C1/C2.
While we can “put bones back.”
We can't neglect the forces acting on them.
