Our Program
The CNS program is a 1,278-hour immersive educational experience designed to prepare students for a successful career in structural therapy as a Certified Neurosomatic Specialist. This comprehensive curriculum combines hands-on practice, theoretical knowledge, and an in-depth understanding of human anatomy.
To ensure the greatest opportunity for our students the program is separated into 2 parts.
Part 1 of the CNS training is Clinical Massage & Somatic Therapy, 650hrs. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 1PM, with a student clinic on Fridays from 8 AM to 1 PM. This structure ensures that students gain ample practical experience while also accommodating those who may be working or have other daytime commitments.
The Clinical Massage & Somatic Therapy portion of the program runs approximately 8 months, and is divided into four sections. Throughout the course, students will develop an understanding of Massage in a clinical environment, advanced assement and measurements of the body, and Somatic Therapy techniques for treating pain and dysfunction in the body.
Part 2 of the CNS program is Neurosomatic Therapy & Corrective Exercise, 628hrs. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 3PM to 8PM, with a student clinic on Fridays from 12PM to 5PM. This part of the program is also divided into four terms, ensuring a balanced and thorough educational experience. The curriculum covers advanced topics in neurosomatic therapy, diving deeper into cranial balancing, treatments of the eyes, TMJ, vicsera, with a strong emphasis on corrective exercise techniques, functional joint movements, and restorative techniques that enhance patient outcomes.
Upon completion, graduates will be eligibile to sit for the state licensing exam (MBLEx), hold a certificate as a Neurosomatic Specialist, and Personal Trainer with expertise in Corrective Exercise. These credential not only broaden their scope of practice but also position them as highly skilled practitioners capable of addressing complex neuromuscular issues.
